And the Birds Flew

"Good, but could use a final touch."

Nice animation, as far as storytelling is concerned it's spot on. Both individual animation frames and the shots are nicely timed to communicate what's needed. The halts you used between animation do work for me, but all that white noise around your characters really pulls me out of the story. Instead of emphatizing the characters' actions it just makes the viewer painfully aware which frames are animated and which aren't... I would suggest to either use moving halts instead of static halts (so that the noise is constantly changing), or to remove the noise altogether. Shouldn't be too much work to clean your scans up properly... But apart from that it's great! It's rare to see traditional frame-by-frame scans in a flash movie. Looking forward to seeing more of your work :)

No Man's Land Flash Anime

"oooh"

date: September 4, 2005

Very nice job on the shading and lighting, the whole thing reminded me of vampire hunter D and blood: the last vampire with an original twist to it. Screenplay was superb for setting a dark mood... Maybe some more animation in the short action scene would've made it more lively, altough I suppose that's dificult with this level of detail...

Looking forward to more episodes ^^ got my 5
